I am Ritu Raj Madhup, a Software Engineer with more than 6 years of professional experience in the technology industry.
I completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, India, in 2020.
Over the years, I have worked in different technology environments and gained experience across both the education technology (EdTech) and defense sectors. These experiences have given me an opportunity to work with different types of applications, teams, processes, and business requirements.
My professional journey has mainly been focused on software engineering, software testing, test automation, application quality, and technology solutions. Working on real-world projects has helped me understand that building good software is not only about writing code. It is also about understanding requirements, finding practical solutions, testing applications properly, and making sure the final product works well for its users.
During my career, I have worked with technologies and tools related to software testing and automation, including Selenium, Java, TestNG, API testing, and other testing and development tools. I have also worked in environments where quality, reliability, and attention to detail are particularly important.
My experience in the EdTech sector gave me exposure to products and applications used in the education space, where usability and reliability are important because the software directly affects the learning experience.
My experience in the defense sector provided a different professional environment, with a stronger focus on structured processes, reliability, documentation, and quality.
These experiences have shaped the way I look at technology today.
I believe that good technology should solve a real problem, work reliably, and provide a good experience to the people using it.
Through Stack Quora, I want to share some of the knowledge and practical experience I have gained throughout my career while also creating a platform where other technology professionals can share what they have learned.
